This was my first cocktail using the new Probitas Green Label (57% ABV) and wow is it a perfect match for this tasty drink.... sorry Pusser's. This is just juice, rum and ango but it is Tiki all day. Orange and cranberry are hard enough to balance on their own, but throwing both into a cocktail takes guts I don't have. I considered adding pimento because natural fruit allies: nope, doesn't need it. Great juicy cocktail perfectly spiced (can go heavy with the bitters). Try it with a rum that won't shout over the drink but still contribute.... high recommend on Probe Green.

After many years, tried this again. Not liking my cocktails sweet, we used unsweetened cranberry juice. Substituted homemade grenadine for the sugar syrup. A little on the tart side, but perfect.

I made it with both OFTD and Old Monk. Very delightful either way. A 5* drink that can be great for all palates.

Tasty and refreshing. A float of overproof worked well. Used unsweetened cranberry juice, so upped the sugar syrup just a bit. Had some ginger beer open, tried a little in a side glass, and it was good (new cocktail?) Will try the suggested sub of grenadine next time -make it bloodier.

Packs a fruity punch and you can up the ante by substituting the sugar syrup with 10 ml grenadine (or to taste) which helps with the whole 'blood' theme.

Great, juicy, bright and lightly tart citrus and cranberry. I had some spiced Navy strength rum - delicious in this. A very tasty and refreshing tall cocktail.

Even bloodier (and tastier) if you replace the orange juice by 1 oz blood orange juice and the sugar syrup by 1 tsp pomegranate syrup or liqueur.

Very fresh juicy cocktail, and the taste of Pusser gunpowder proof rum certainly cuts through all the juices, even with "only" 45 ml rum. I had to up the amount of orange juice due to bland oranges at hand. And next time, I shake with more ice cubes to ensure less thining down of the cocktail.

Good call out. I also noticed this drink is more susceptible to dilution than many (also seems to fill a regular collins glass quite easily). Great on pebble ice though.

Fruity, tangy and (of course) rummy. Very easy drinking.
