Even bloodier (and tastier) if you replace the orange juice by 1 oz blood orange juice and the sugar syrup by 1 tsp pomegranate syrup or liqueur.

Very fresh juicy cocktail, and the taste of Pusser gunpowder proof rum certainly cuts through all the juices, even with "only" 45 ml rum. I had to up the amount of orange juice due to bland oranges at hand. And next time, I shake with more ice cubes to ensure less thining down of the cocktail.

Fruity, tangy and (of course) rummy. Very easy drinking.

Tried this with the spiced version of navy strength rum that Pusser's make, it is fantastic. By chance we had warm stollen to eat alongside, actually goes rather well indeed!

Great rum drink, I’ve swapped the cranberry with pineapple, mango/papaya purée too and it still holds up.

Great party night cocktail, normally I do Tiki cocktails at night and this was as good as one well apart from that my husband thinks there are demons out there in the garden, hearing funny noises but let’s not think about this that’s another story

This was wonderful. Being big rum drinkers it was perfect cocktail with a meal or alone. We used an overproof Navy Rum which gave it a little more punch and a little less syrup. Made it delightfully dry with a lot of punch.

An unusual twist on a fruity rum punch, goes down rather too well, the cranberry adds a slight dryness not usually found with tiki type punches. I would however use two full ounces of rum next time!

Rum drinkers, this is a refreshing flavoursome drink
