A rich Black Forest Gateau-like fruity twist on the creamy classic gin-based Alexander and the popular Brandy Alexander. Despite the inclusion of egg white, best not to dry shake this cocktail.

Really delicious, if simple dessert drink. I will say the cherry is somewhat lost.

Yes, for us also the cherry liqueur was a bit lost. So we carefully added a pour of 2.5ml of the liqueur (go with 5ml if you wish) through the middle of the otherwise prepared drink. Settled nicely in the bottom of the glass for a cherry reward as the finale.

Black forest gateau in a glass! I added a garnish of Cacao powder in addition to the cherry 🍒.

There’s no egg white in the list of ingredients, so wondering if DRY SHAKING should be removed from the instructions, or is it egg white that should be added to the ingredients?

Better with some egg white, I've added above.
