Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 12 oz Italicus liqueur
× 1 1 serving
Read about cocktail measures and measuring

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of 3 Fragata Green Olives on stick.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Review:

Bitter orange peel is a botanical which features in many gins, and in this cocktail a bitter sweet bergamot liqueur is mixed with gin to good effect.

One of the cocktails promoted with the launch of Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto in the summer of 2017.

Far, FAR too much Italicus. Much better with a 3 (or even 4):1 ratio

Yes, to the advantage of both ingredients. I free poured roughly 3:1 and had a very pleasantly aromatic, martini-like aperitif. Used the excellent very citrus-forward Le Tribute gin from Spain.
