Serve in an

Old-fashioned glass

Garnish:

Slice chilli pepper (warn drinker not to eat)

How to make:

Very lightly MUDDLE (just press) chilli pepper in base of shaker to release its flavour. (If you muddle too hard then the finished cocktail will be overly spicy.) Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass.
The agave syrup is easier to use if diluted with 3 parts syrup to 1 part water, in which case use 22.5ml / ¾oz of the diluted syrup.

3 slice Jalapeño or Fresno chilli pepper
12 fresh Coriander (cilantro) leaves
2 fl oz Patrón Reposado tequila
12 fl oz Agave syrup
1 fl oz Freshly squeezed lime juice

Comment:

Best described as a Tommy's Margarita with added chilli spice and coriander/cilantro.

About:

Created by Chris Ojeda at Soho House, West Hollywood, USA, this "House Tonic" is the best-selling cocktail across the Soho Houses around the world, and also has become a popular contemporary classic served in other bars. Similar in both and composition to Francesco Lafranconi's 2008 Amante Picante cocktail.
