Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.

Prepare garnish of rose petal, edible flower or orange zest twist.

Hmm. I used St.Germain and Briottet Rose and I found the elderflower totally overpowered any rosé flavours, which is what I was looking for in this drink. Perhaps St Germain is sweeter than Fiorente. I did enjoy the drink, but next time I think I'll recalibrate the elderflower to rose measurements for a more floral and delicate drink

Replaces 4 Pillars with 1 part raspberry blush gin, 1 part dry gin and replaced rose petal liqueur with a splash of rose water

I made this using Brecon rose petal gin and Briottet rose liqueur, omitting the elderflower. Very fresh and delicate, but I think I’d try to give it an extra dimension next time by adding a little elderflower, raspberry or strawberry liqueur - the strawberry would complement the gin nicely. I also love the Turkish Delight flavour of the Lanique, but didn’t have any in.

I just tried another variation where I used lavender syrup instead of rose petal liqueur. It was great! Even better than when I substituted in creme de violette for rose petal liqueur.

I didn’t have rose petal liqueur on hand so I substituted creme de violette (violet liqueur). It was really good! I need to find some rose petal liqueur though so I can try the original.

This was delicious. Also tries it again, replacing the elderflower with rose & pomegranate liqueur, and garnishing with fragrant pelargonium flowers. That was just fabulous - beautifully balanced, packing a punch with floral, Turkish delight flavours. Lovely for high summer or the festive season. Also, my first attempt at throwing a cocktail, so I’ll definitely need to make more for the practice... ??

Made this but did not have St Germain on hand, so subbed créme de violette :D Excellent little sipper for the lovers of florals, thank you! Oops, I used rose and violette from Distillerie Salamandre here in France.
