Ingredients:
23 oz Straight rye whiskey (100 proof /50% alc./vol.)
14 oz Cognac (brandy)
14 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
16 oz Elderflower liqueur
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
3 drop Bob's Liquorice bitters
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

How to make:

  1. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN into chilled glass (no ice in glass).

Garnish:

  1. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

I found this looking for a recipe that included licor 43. This drink came up in the list but 43 was not included in the ingredient list. Used it instead of elderflower liqueur. Had to make another sub too so can’t comment accurately. Turned out harsh on sipping but good finish.
