How to make:
STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into chilled glass.
|1 1/2 fl oz||Patrón Silver blanco tequila|
|3/4 fl oz||Fernet liqueur|
|1/2 fl oz||Antica Formula or other full-bodied/aged sweet vermouth|
|1/2 fl oz||Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)|
|2 dash||Angostura Aromatic Bitters|
The herbal spicy peppermint and liquorice notes of Fernet Branca dominate this digestif-style tequila laced cocktail.
Adapted from a recipe created in June 2017 by Nathan Hinze at 99 Hanover Street, Edinburgh, Scotland. The cocktail's name is inspired by the wording on the Fernet Branca label.
