Apricot wedge on rim
How to make:
SHAKE first 5 ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass (preferably over a chunk of block ice). FLOAT wine on surface of the cocktail.
|1 1/2 fl oz||Bourbon whiskey|
|1/2 fl oz||Giffard Abricot du Roussillon liqueur|
|3/4 fl oz||Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)|
|1/2 fl oz||Orange juice (freshly squeezed)|
|1/3 fl oz||Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°brix)|
|1/2 fl oz||Claret red wine|
Sip through dry red tannins to reach the rich apricot and orange fruity bourbon sour beneath.
