Serve in a Coupe glass

Ingredients:
2 oz Torabhaig Peated Single Malt Whisky
1 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
4 drop Bob's Abbotts bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist (discarded) & Luxardo Maraschino Cherry.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

As someone who enjoys peated Scotch, I found this muted the smokiness too much for my liking. I'll be sticking to a regular Rob Roy.

Not a big fan of peaty whisky, used Johnnie Walker Black. This was a perfect after dinner drink. Had the cocktail while watching a murder mystery set in a British country manor house .

If you are unsure about Islay Whisky try this. Smokey/medicinal but with sweetness. Bob’s Abbotts Bitters brings it all together.
