Ingredients:
2 oz Patrón Reposado tequila
56 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
12 oz Monin Pure Cane Syrup (65.0°brix, equivalent to 2:1 rich syrup)
1 23 oz Thomas Henry Soda Water
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered orange slice wheel and Luxardo Maraschino Cherry (sail).
  3. SHAKE first 3 ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass whilst also pouring soda.
  5. Garnish with skewered orange slice wheel and maraschino cherry (sail).

In his 1948 The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks David A. Embury says, "Originally there were two brothers only in the Collins family - Tom and John. During recent years, however, numerous cousins have appeared on the scene - Pedro, Pierre, Sandy, Mike, Jack, the Colonel and several others whose first names have not yet been officially recorded in the baptismal registry."
