Very easy drinking indeed! Excellent negroni variant.

I'll buy "easy drinking," though it's not very negroni-ish. It's an aperitif-cocktail enhanced with a Suze gentian kick and and a gin octane boost. Non-challenging, goes down easy. I made one tonight alongside a more complex Byrrh negroni variant, the Amber Negroni (Remy-Martin 1738, Salers, and Golden Moon's Amer dit Picon). As expected, the difference was stark, and we both preferred the Amber as a pre-dinner drink, but both work in their own ways and it simply boils down to what you're after. Slainte'!

Excellent negroni variant, gin based but significant gentian component. Very nice!

Perfect aperitif accompaniment while I prepared tonight's fondue savoyarde avec ses charcuterie.

Charcuteries, I’d have thought.
I made this with Bulldog, Lillet Rouge and Suze. No good at all.

Sweeter than I thought it would be. Real interesting though. First experience of Byrrh.
