1 1/2 fl oz Blended Scotch whisky
3/4 fl oz Mastiha liqueur
3/4 fl oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
3/4 fl oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed)

How to make

Glassware

Serve in a Coupe glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. Prepare mint leaf for garnish.

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. Garnish with mint leaf.

Like most Blood&Sand riffs this benefits from a touch of added acidity. I added 0.5cl of lime juice and then this becomes a balanced, interesting B&S riff. The scotch and Mastiha work surprisingly well together with the mint.
