Serve in a Martini glass

Ingredients:
1 12 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
12 oz Bénédictine D.O.M. liqueur
12 oz Strucchi Dry Vermouth
1 dash Orange Bitters by Angostura
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Made this with Plymouth Gin and enjoyed how it played nicely with the citrus and herbal notes.

This is a nice and rounded, almost refreshing drink. Slightly on the sweet side for me, so I might slightly up the gin just for more of a bite.

Made this with a straight dry Gin, and then with a Barrel Aged Gin. The barreled gin I used seemed to help round out the herbal notes for a fuller drink.

The Benedictine and orange bitter give a nice orange and spicy touch but not enough to compensate the very dry gin/vermouth couple. A little of acidity would make it nice I guess.
