Today's National One-Hit Wonder Day was established in 1990 by the American music journalist Steven Rosen.
Okay, so we're only talking 15 minutes of fame but there have been some great one-hit wonders over the years – think Always Something There to Remind Me by the Naked Eyes, Norman Greenbaum's Spirit in the Sky or Cheryl Lynn's amazing disco anthem Got to be Real.
