Garnish:
Coin-sized lime zest twist cut thick with some flesh on the back so that when the zest is expressed over the cocktail a few drips of juice also drop into the cocktail.
How to make:
STIR all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.

Adapted from Megs Miller's Mex Martini and crucially it is her advice to use a bianco vermouth or bianco Americano that makes this cocktail. Megs prefers a lemon zest twist but for me, where there's tequila there should be lime, and of course Margarita Bitters.
