Italian limoncellos do tend to be very sweet, to our taste. Downunder, we do this with a local bitter limoncello by Autonomy, recently re-branded as "Citrine Aperitivo". Delicious and no problem at all with the sweetness.

Had a bit of limoncello left but no soda water. So my recipe was pallini limoncello 2 parts topped with brut champagne domaine Chandon 4 parts. Nice for a warm day!

It was too sweet with the original recipe, so I added more prosecco and soda water.

Way too sweet for our taste.

We didn't like this; think the soda water gives it an 'off taste' - must have mixed it wrong!

Refreshing. Substituted with homemade Limoncello (190 poof) and while still a little sweet, this is a great summer cocktail especially in GA where I am from.
