How to make:
STIR ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass (preferably over a chunk of block ice).
2 fl oz | Speyside single malt Scotch whisky |
1/4 fl oz | Sugar syrup (65.0°brix, 2 sugar to 1 water rich syrup) |
2 dash | Angostura Aromatic Bitters |
Review:
Some may want to use a Demerara sugar syrup but pure cane sugar delicately mellows the malt whisky without masking its flavour, indeed it amplifies its character.
