Super good. I was even a little timid with the peated whiskey and I didn’t need to be. Would have been even better with a smidgen more

This a FANTASTIC.
I used slightly more peat and slightly more green and slightly less luxardo and I think that was a good call
Didn’t notice until I’d already made it with Bombay Sapphire that the original used St George Terroir. The Terroir would have been vastly better, I imagine. This was pretty good, too, though.
Really is evocative of a cigar in the best possible way. I love it.
Definitely dial down the maraschino a tad. Somehow it managed to drown out the peat; still puzzled how that’s even possible.
It’s like a more refined Little Italy. I like it. You better like peat and cynar, though (which I do)
The Cardamaro is brilliant in this one. I wouldn’t recommend trying to substitute anything else.
Didn’t have a cinnamon stick, so put the slightest, tiniest little bit of ground cinnamon in and that was awesome. Probably a much more meh drink without it
Been looking for a rum-forward, non-juiced-up cocktail for a while. This is it!
Definitely way too much suze. And probably too much lemon juice. But it conceptually has potential.
I expected to kinda like this but not necessarily love it. I was wrong. I LOVE IT.
I went ever so slightly lighter than suggested with the ginger and I think that was a good bet.
Perfection. No notes
It felt like the ginger was a smidgen unbalanced so I added the smallest dash of Aztec chocolate bitters and that helped, but still needs something
Actually, just doubling the orange bitters and angostura bitters did the trick.

The mint garnish makes a big difference. I even squeezed the leaves a bit into the drink and it was fantastic
Wow that is really good. Just echoing what everyone else is saying about the nice balance of all the things!
You definitely need the orange zest. I had it first with it, loved it, tried it again a different night when I didn’t have an orange and it was a totally different drink
This is so good! I didn’t have chocolate and really wished I’d had. In hindsight, an orange twist might have been ok as a substitute.
Damn this is good. I was not expecting it to be as balanced as it is. It’s strong though! Be ready for a punch in the face that you actually like and want more of. Whoever named it was a genius
Wow, this was fantastic. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this one before. It’s now going to be a go-to
The orange zest twist is pretty critical on this one. I forgot it at first, felt like something g important was missing, remembered it and added it after, and it was a totally different cocktail (for the better)
So freaking good. Used St George Spiced Pear for the pear and it worked great. Really wish I’d had some Roquefort on hand because that really would have been brilliant
You’ll likely find that’s a nice round 25ml in the new money 😉 But agreed that this is just the perfect little drink.
Ahhh. Now that makes sense!
