A Sweet Manhattan with subtle blackberry and raspberry fruit. Despite the liqueur, this remains spirit-forward and relatively dry.

It delivers what you would expect from the ingredients…which is a bold, Manhattan-like drink. A good way to start an evening!

Had to improvise, used Sidetrack rasberry liqueur and a rather cheap bourbon, Lux Row Distillers' Ezra Brooks 99 and Cocchi Storico. Was excellent. Now that's a Manhattan I can get behind!

As a Bourbon guy, I really like this one. As has been stated, it is very Bourbon forward, so I would use a higher quality Bourbon and not a "mixer" one. Chambord not very prevalent for me. Has an "Old fashioned" feel to it.

Very much bourbon led, but the additions smooth off any rough bourbon edges and accentuate the fruity notes. Very good.

Great. The bourbon is pronounced, but it is a very spirit forward but subtle cocktail. Will have again.

Although I'm not convinced that the man himself would go for one of these, I'm making it tonight to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Charlie George's iconic FA Cup Final-winning goal and celebration!
