Review:

Inspired by the numerous other Tuxedo recipes, this combines the best of them with a faint hint of sweetness (from the bianco vermouth and old tom gin) to balance dry sherry and dashes of absinthe and bitters.

My bottle of Dolin dry had gone squiffy so went with 45 ml Dolin blanc. Otherwise followed exactly. Really delicious!

Only had dry gin on hand but upped the bianco a hair for sweetness. Strong yet light on the palate with an pleasingly unusual pink color. The absinthe was subtle but present. A hit with my guest.

Complex but balanced. Essentially fruity but stays dry due to fruitiness coming from those great bitters. I always back off just a hair on the vermouth.

Hi! There is maybe a mistake in the database, because this is not an alcohol-free drink...

Perfect on a warm afternoon for a aperitif. Love the hints of absinthe and cherry. Wonderfully dry but with a hint of sweetness.

So delicious! I had this with a Cotswold Old Tom, Belsazar white and Dolin dry. A new favourite for sure!
