How to make:
SHAKE all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.
|2 fl oz||Bacardi Gold rum|
|1/2 fl oz||Lime juice (freshly squeezed)|
|5/12 fl oz||Sugar syrup (65.0°brix, 2 sugar to 1 water rich syrup)|
|1/4 fl oz||Pink grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)|
|1/6 fl oz||Luxardo Maraschino liqueur|
Thought to have been created by Constantino (Constante) Ribalaigua Vert at the Floridita bar in Havana, Cuba, circa 1915. If this was invented as early as 1915, then this was the predecessor of the Hemingway Daiquiri, since Hemingway did not arrive in Cuba until 1928.
