Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn from Bangkok, Thailand, emerged the worthy champion after presenting his Pink Me Up cocktail at the 2019 global final held in Amsterdam. The victory also celebrates his title as the first ever bartender from an Asian country to win the competition.
The other seven bartenders to reach the last round of the global final were: Nicole Fas (Puerto Rico), Matthew Wakeford (United Arab Emirates), Chelsie Bailey (UK), Chantelle Gabino (Canada), Matías Peredo (Chile), Filippos Tasoulas (Greece) and Hiroyasu Okanuma (Japan).
Following thousands of entries, the global final brought together 43 bartenders from around the world to present their rendition of a modern classic and compete for the winning title.
